We have quite a lot of these birds in our area.
This owl was on the rocksand I managed to very slowly sneek up and I slid the lens around the rock and I recieved this very inviting stare. |

Incredible capture! I love the natural colors, the tiny details in the plumage, the way he stares at you as if he could take you on (and he probably could), but there's also a certain amount of curiosity here. All in all, this is an excellent composition, rich in detail, and one to frame and keep! One more thing: Welcome to our TN family!

Hi Avi. You are lucky to have been able to get so clse to this beautiful bird. The Owl has its very large eyes fixed on you. You have been able to take this with fine detail and sharp focusing. With the use of the light the eyes shine and natural colours in the featehrs.
Well done TFs.

Beautiful capture. Avi.
Is this the Little Owl (Athene noctua)? Hard to tell, as you got so close...
Happy Meimounah!

Hello Avi,
Although there's a bit of noise in the BG, this is an excellent photo with beautiful natural colours, great sharp details and frontal POV. The eyes are looking straight into the camera.
Regards,
Peter
