[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Fibigia clypeata is a Mediterranean perennial herb with silvery leaves and yellow flowers. The oval fruits are really nice, after seeds are dispersed the frame remains, first with a papery divider and than without it. In Hebrew this plant is called 'glasses'. Here you can see young green fruits together with last years fruit frames. I found this plant in the lwoer part of Mt Hermon near the village of Majdal Shams, where the slopes are still dominated by Mediterranean plants.

Hi Ori,

Very interesting fruit. From your description, it sounds like they may resemble the fruit of Lunaria annua, which also gets a silvery, round fruit with a papery cover.

Nice shot!
