Hi Ori,

Yes, I can imagine that that was surprising to see. The insect brought coordinating colours to your orchid. It looks like it's sucking up orchid juice. I imagine that you used a flash. In any case, the light on your image was very effective. Very nice details and colours. TFS.

Hola Ori

Bonita imagen de esta planta y sus colores, con ese fondo negro que le da mas realce. Este insecto que te ha aparecido, pudiera ser algún tipo pulgón, que realmente ha quedado perfecto.

Un saludo Antonio

This one is so lovely, Ori, the colours are so wonderful and the moment is perfect. It seems as the hopper is enjoying the warm sun on the pretty violet flower.
I also love the light and the good sharpness.
Thanks, very good job

Ori, this is such a great macro shot. Thanks so much for your comment on my 'Only The Strong Survive' photo. That was raw nature at it's best. Have a great day, Bill

Dear Ori,
Your photo is REALLY special; did you use the ring flash you once described to me?

I have not yet got one, but I hope in the near future to acquire it.

I have a similar photo of an orchid i.e.the bloom looks as if it was made of "foam"... do you have an idea what creates this effect? May be it is moisture - as might be indicated by the presence of your little insect appearing to drink?!?

It is truly a pleasure to view all the details in your photo and I add it to my favorites.

Have a nice week-en
Kind Regards from a cold South Africa
