[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another early bloomer is the rather rare Short-Leaved Meadow Crocus, Colchicum brachyphyllum. Note the typical short leaves appearing along with the flowers, and the sharp-tipped petals with their violet tinge. The petal length is about 18 mm.
