|Another early bloomer is the rather rare Short-Leaved Meadow Crocus, Colchicum brachyphyllum. Note the typical short leaves appearing along with the flowers, and the sharp-tipped petals with their violet tinge. The petal length is about 18 mm.|

Hi Ishi. Your use of the light in this picture of this beautiful Crocus has given rich colours. Taken with fine detail and sharp focusing. Well taken TFS.

I like your simple, yet so pleasant picture very much. It shows the flower's characteristics in a beautiful manner. It would be interesting to know how it comes that you have taken this early bloomer in october. Is this normal for your region?
