[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Following yesterday’s posting of the Eremurus flowers (also known as “Foxtail Lilies” or “Desert Candles”), please find here a close-up of the fruit. Those were recorded at a lower elevation of about 1600 m a.s.l, where the flowers bloomed about a month ago. The fruit are about 8 mm in diameter.

Fantastic fruit Ishi. excellent photo. regards yiannis

Hello Ishi,
This is a fantastic fruit and almost resembles the human brain. This is a beautiful image with good sharp clear details. Never seen anything like this before. Well done and tfs.

they look like brains, interesting, dash Ori

Gran trabajo Ishi !!!

Saludos: Josep Ignasi.

Hej Ishi,
Nice to see the fruit of this interesting species. Though they look like little green brains they also seem as if they were edible, though most in this family are poisonous.
Excellent lighting that shows them in fine sharpness and natural colours.
Thank you and best regards,
