Taking a break from orchids...

This is the first of Mt. Hermon plants. The mountain is at the border of Israel Lebanon and Syria. The high altitude and the terrain make it a home of unusual flora and fauna.

This is a typical succulent rock plant of the Crassulaceae family, found also in the Upper Galilee. Each flower is about 10 mm in diameter. A close-up is shown on the WS.
