[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the opening inflorescence of A. carmeli, Mt. Camel garlic, enclosing many pink buds. It will open into a globe of about 6 cm in diameter (see WS). On Mt. Carmel, its locus classicus, the flowers are usually white, while in other areas they are typically pink. The plant is tall, up to about 150 cm.
