[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here is a rarity from Mt. Hermon, a plant known from Cilicia and the Levant. Another species of Kitaibelia, K. vitifolia, is endemic to the former Yugoslavia, and has been cultivated widely.

The flowers are 4 to 5 cm in diameter. This herbaceous perennial of the Malvaceae (Mallow) family, can grow to about 1 m in height. Please see the WS for more.

great flower and fruit closeup, we tried to grow it in our gardns, but were left with only 1 plant.
