[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Lebanon allium has adapted to the strong winds at the high elevations by developing a very short stalk, with the inflorescence barely above the ground. Here we see the young inflorescence, about 3 cm in diameter emerging from its protecting "sac". Note also the typical leaves, also hugging the ground.

The WS shows another specimen, already open, and another one, still closed.

great bud capture, dash Ori

Very nice plant capture showing us the details of the Lebanon allium, Ishi. The light is fabulous and you have framed it nicely like from the top of pineapple.
