Interesting subject and great photo Ishi! Excellent composition, wonderful colours and impressive sharpness. This is not Omophlus for sure. Omophlus is a soft bodied genus in the subfamily Alleculinae (family Tenebrionidae). Your beetle is a species in the subfamily Lepturinae – Family Cerambycidae. I think that it is Pseudovadonia livida (Fabricius, 1776)
