This orchid blooms rather late in the season in relatively higher elevations. It is wide-spread species, but quite rare here. Unlike many other orchids, it does offer potential pollinators nectar, collected in its specially designed labellum. The flowers come in different shades of yellow-green-reddish, and are up to 2 cm across.
