[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Acantholimon is a huge genus of Asian, mountainous species. A. libanoticum is one of the westermonst species, growing in the Lebanon Mts and Mt Hermon, where this pic was taken. It blooms in July after most other plants are drying. It is a cushion-like spiny plant, typical for the sub-alpine (Tragacanth) belt.

Hi Ori
Yet another of your excellent and interesting wild flower photos.

Rgds Mike.

Bonsoir Fragman
Nouvelle inconnue. Je ne connais pas ce genre et n'en trouve pas la famille au premier regard. Peux tu m'en dire plus sur la taxonommie? Merci d'avance. Très belle espèce, ça va sans dire.
