A perennial herbaceous plant. Stems and leaves are silky-hairy - hence the plant's name. Young flowers yellow, fading with age, as u can see in this picture.
Onosma sericea is a common perennial of the Middle East and Caucasus arid mountains. In Israel it is very rare, occurring only in Mt Hermon. |
