Lovely depiction of flower in its habitat. Interestingly that population seems to have much more widely open flowers than those of the Golan.

Je suis très jaloux des Sternbergia d'Israel. C'est un genre peu présent en France, avec une seule espèce indigène (S. colchiciflora) extrêmement rare (une seule station connue !!).
