[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Campanula rapunculus is a nice East Mediterranean perennial. In Israel it is rather common, blooming mainly during April. The flowers are upright, unlike the similar European Campanula rapunculoides with pending flowers. This one was found at the edge of typical Mediterranean oak scrub in the Upper Galilee, 1000m.

Hi Ori,
Interesting bluebell, quite different from the Campanula species I know here in Central Europe. Nice macro photo also, with good focus, details and contrast, although I feel it's a very little bit overexposured. But an OK one, anyway. Tfs.
Best regards, László

Hi Ori, I think this is one of your best, fabulous details and colouration to this lovely flower.Excellent composition. TFS regards h

Hi Ori

A lovely close-up of this flower showing excellent details and beautiful colours.

Typical as with so many of your work you have managed to achieve a wonderful dark BG so that the flower stand out well in the image and thereby get all the attention. There is nothing else in the shot to distract the eye or make it wonder off in search of any other elements within the photo. The vertical composition worked well and you utilised the space excellently with the stem running parallel to the left border and delivering the flower at an angle into the right hand side of the frame. The exposure control was spot-on making remarkable use of the available light.

Good work and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hello Ori. You have beautiful collection of flowers and this one is just gorgeous in violet sharpness of the petals. Pleasant perspective in silenced background. Well done and best regards. Jusni

Hi Ori,
Very nice macro picture. TFS.

Hi Ori,
A very pretty shot, in Catalunya we have it although the inflorescencia seems something different, C. rapunculus.
Salut. Ferran

Hi Ori,

Nice Campanula, does remind me of C. rapunculoides except for the angle of the flower, as you mention. Campanula rapunculoides even grows wild over here in the USA, introduced for flower gardens, it has escaped and spread, haven't seen C. rapunculus though..

Anyway, nice, sharp image, very nice.

Thanks,
John
