[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
About a month ago I showed early bloom of this Sternbergia from a high elevation. As this Eastern Galilee site the bloom was at its peak last weekend. Here are two perfect specimens. Note the nectaries at th tips of three petals of each flower.

Another view is in given in the WS. Under the flowers you see last year's dry leaves.

Hello Ishi,
Striking colour for this Sternbergia, well caught (not so easy with yellow). I have seen this plant lately in our Botanical garden too. But better to take a shot in the wild.
Kind regards
Anne

Hallo Ishi
The overall yellow colours in this image are very eye-catching and draw the eye to look and look again. To me yellow always symbolise summer, sun and lots of happiness and that is just what I see looking at this image. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
Anna
