Ficus carica (fig) is a common tree across the Mediterranean. Its origin is probably easwards in SW to central Asia. It is one of the only non-tropical ficus species. The figs are riping just now and are delicious!

Hi Ori. We have a fig tree in the garden at work. but the bird get the figs first. I like the use of the light in this picture which has made for bright colours. with a shine to the leaves. well done TFS.
