|Geranium tuberosum is a common and rather showy geranium, found in most parts of Israel. Its rhizomes develop edible tubers, thus the species name. The genus name refers to the long narrow fruit, supposedly shaped like the bill of a crane, “geranos” in Greek. |
The flower diameter is about 25 mm.
