[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another harbinger of autumn, another colchicum ( The "Jerusalem Meadow-Crocus") on the background of the dry grass of last year. The leaves will appear later after more rain fall.

The petals are about 25 mm long above ground, but they do extend into bulb below ground.

Do have a look at the buds in the WS.

This is a gorgeous species of flower. Lovely pink colors. A perfect exposure with superb light. You have a very good chance to take a shoot of this interesting species of crocus.
