A "double-header" Sea Squill formed (optically) by closely growing two Urginea maritima flowers, with more seen in the diffuse background.Each is about 120 cm tall.

Picture taken just before sunset, in the same location of my last posting of this species a few days ago

Good show Ishi! I love this type of image and the knowledge that surrounds them. That's what TN used to be about and you carry on the tradition well. Maritime flora is a new area for me..although I did reside on the Mendocino Coast of Calif for 20 years. Most of my work then was news and landscape.

I have no idea how to react to such a beautiful shot, my brother Ishi!
