[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Sternbergia clusiana is a protected bulb in Israel, it is rather rare, found in patches in semi-arid areas. During its blooming time its site are places of pilgrim for many nature lovers. The huge flowers are 6-10 cm long. The flowers bloom before the strong rains arrive later in November-December, only than the leaves will sprout and the flowers will be long gone. |

Hello Ori
Very beautiful this flower, it has a yellow intense and precious color.
Excellent photo to appreciate its textures.
It's the first time I've seen it.
Thank you always for sharing.
Greetings.
Hi Ori,
Very spectacular flower, especially the way how you photographed the bright yellow petals against the uninteresting background. Superb work, congratulations!
Kind regards from Ireland, László
