Being a poisonous plant, Drimia is covering over grazed slopes. It is a large bulb that blooms in early autumn without leaves. Bulb is poisonous, huge and shallow. Spike very tall and long with over 100 white flowers. Soon after blooming the fruit develop and disperse their black seeds. Leaves waxy, develop after rain in winter time. It is primarily a Mediterranean species, but penetrates the desert as u can see here.

Hello Ori,
From viewing your previous image I never would have guessed the entire plant would have looked like this, very interesting. I really like the way you show them growing in their natural habitat and surrounding terrain. Wonderful detail and beautiful rich colors. Exposure is perfect.
