Glossonema boveanum is a rare desert perennial. It sprouts and blooms only in rare rainy years. The plant is hairy-felted. Flowers shay, starry, purple, white centred. Fruit is large and prickly.

Hello Ori,
A wonderful shot of this rare desert perennial. The star shaped flowers are very pretty, I like their purple petals and white centers. Once again you present us with a plant covered with tiny hair like filaments. Exceptional detail and perfectly exposed.
