[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Neurada procumbens is a special annual plant species without relatives. It has small shy flowers and button-like spiny fruits. The spiny fruits are imbedded in shoes and even car tires. Each fruit has several seeds, every year one is germinating. The species is common throughout the Saharo-Arabian desert and reaches its northern border in coastal Israel.
