Cometes abyssinica is one of Israeal's rares plants. As a matter of fact, it did not bloom for 24 years, until this year, when the far south of the country got a lot of rains. Dudi Rivner had found the plant and counted some 30 plants. These are the dispersal units with their seed inside.
