A desert sub-shrub, covered by dense felt. Leaves much wavy. Flowers yellow open during night and morning, single or in groups of 3. It grows in desert washes and roadsides.

Interesting the way the plant is covered in the felt like substance. I can't remember ever seeing anything like it here in the U.S. Top quality photo!!

Beautiful BG and well captured this desert sub-shrub (Thanks for your NOTE).
Good details and good DOF. In such situation when light is too much in BG, I use 'Spot metering' which help me to keep subject bright and BG bit dark.
