I was thrilled to see these beautiful Cyclamen plants growing in their natural habit while visiting Israel. I have purchased these unique looking flowers for my wife here in the states, but never dreamed I would one day see them growing in the wild.

Our group was in Herod's National Park in the vicinity of Gideon's cave when I found this cluster growing out of some nearby rock outcroppings.

Cyclamen are perennial and grow from tubers, they are valued for their lovely upturned flower petals. The first time I saw one of these intricate looking flowers I just had to buy it for Rosie.

Hello Ron,
Beautiful flowers and a nice gift for you. Well captured if we look petals and flowers. Beautiful color and quite well POV. A single flower photograph would be attractive too, against OOF BG. But we couldn't watch its natural habitat.
Thanks for sharing with useful NOTE,

Hello Ron
It's great to see the Cyclamen growing in their natural habitat. Now I know where they originate, or at least one of the locations. A lovely capture showing their true colour. Nice sharp detail, soft light and wonderful composition.
