[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a close up shot of Nile crocodile's eye (Crocodylus niloticus).
Crocodiles were found in the rivers of Israel up to the beginning of the 20th century but were hunted to extinction. Today they can only be seen and photographed in Israel in zoos.
Despite having a fence between us when I shoot this photo it was pretty scary, especially when the guy lost its patience with me...
