Hello Ori,
Great light in this picture, the detail of the black flower are wonderful. Very nice seeing such a rare flower growing in the wild.

Hi Ori,

Well these Iris are very special!
Such a dark colour and you've captured them beautifully.
Excellent sharpness on them all, they look perfect in the nature and so they do here.

These iris are truly beautiful. The color is spectacular against the greens. It's hard to believe that they grow wild!! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ori,

Beautiful sharpness and colours in a natural habitat.
Myself would been more a close up or the completely plant.
Now they looks cut beneath the picture.

regards Gert

Shalom Ori,
A great closed-up of another endemic species and another Iris. Flowers very very beautiful. Macro great with sharp details, nice composition and POV/DOF. TFS, well done

Hi Ori,
nice pic of I. purpurea

Hi Ori,

What a spectacular flower! I didn't know that this color occurred in wild Iris species, thought it was something that Iris fanciers had developed. A unique flower, thanks for posting your photo, which is a very nice shot.

Hi Ori,
Lovely flower!
Beautiful colors!
I'll add it to my theme :-)

A very good representation of those fine, and probably rare, endemic irises Ori, but the petals look quite black from here, where are the purple parts my friend?
