[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Crocus hermoneus grows in Israel, the Palestinian Authority, Jordan and Syria. It blooms in November-December without leaves, this one was found under an hawthron tree, and the fruit the fell near it was the perfect scale (it was tasty as well - the fruit).

It is a revlation that Crocus grows in your country at that time of the year, Ori. I thought it grew in cold regions in early spring.
It is beautiful flower and very well captured. The fruit somehow enhances the appeal of the composition.
Thanks and regards.

Hello Ori,
This is a wonderful composition showing a very beautiful species of Crocus with wide open petals. Great sharpness and lovely colours that stand out against the dark natural background.
TFS and regards, Ulla

Hi Ori,

nice pov and good close up picture from the crocus.

Beautiful colours.

Hi Ori,
Very nice flower. You could have cropped it from the bottom to half-way towards the fruit to have the biggest flower off-centered a bit. The colors are just great.

Hello Ori,
an outstandingly beautiful composition of those fragile blossoms and the tasty little fruit in an arrangement that could not be done better by any intention. Very precise details, and perfectly well controlled colours in pleasantly soft light.
A pleasure to see those pale blue petals standing out so clearly from the dark background, proudly presenting those delightfully saffron coloured organs of reproduction in the centre.
A very pretty flower, very well shown.
Thank you! With best regards,
Peter

Hi Ori,

Very nice shot of this delicate-looking Crocus species, nice sharpness and depth of field. Ever since I was a kid, there have been one or two Crocus that bloom in my yard in Spring-time, looks kind of like that, but I think mine is C. thomasinianus.
