These are flowers of one of our rarest desert shrublets. In S Israel it occurs in 2-3 sites only. In Egypt (S Sinai Highlands) it is much commoner.

thank you for sharing. i am seeing this for the first time. a great specimen for future.

Cool presentation of this flower again ,but this time i think that the sharpness of the image is ....perhaps too moderate! fine colors and composition!

George Veltchev

Hello Ori

Greetings

Hallo Ori
Moderate? Sorry George but I do not agree, but letís leave it there. The flowers are very fine and delicate and it almost looks fragile. Now, I am not so clued up with all the parts of a flower, and what I see here is petals and anthers, but what to one call the ruby parts right in the inside of the flower? Looking at this image, and in my personal opinion I only see calmness and peace and angles, resembled by the flowers. Thanks for sharing this rare flower. It was a pleasure to appreciate it for its fine qualities. Best regards.

Hello Ori,

good pov, dof and bg.
I think the flowers can be sharper.

Hi Ori,
this flower is wonderful. The colour is amazing and you captured it with a nice dark BG. I had to think of you this weekend because I found a flower which I never saw before. Now I know it is Ornithogalum umbellatum - very rare here in Europe as I read in the Internet.
Greetings from Germany

very beautiful flowered plant and its great macro shot. superb colors and details against dark BG. TFS, best wishes, Ori.
