Species: Volutaria crupinoides
One of the very beautiful flowers of the desert and southern savana of Israel.
As per Dr. Fragman-Sapir correction, the updated name is Volutaria crupinoides and not as appears under the image.

This is a beautiful flower with lovely colours and detail but it reminds me of an orphan. I do not know why, but it does, maybe it is small amount of petals that is seen. However said that I think it is a wonderful macro with sharp details, especially the fine hairs on the unopened flowerbuds. The point of view is great. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
