|A beautiful autumn crocus, endemic to N Israel, Syria and Lebanon. It was named after the late Prof. Naomi Feinbrun, one of Israel's greatest botanists and a world specialist of bulbs. It has autumnal tessellated flowers. Leaves blunt, occur after blooming.|

How pleasing it is to see these gorgeous flowers thriving in vivid color at this time of the year. Winter is just a few weeks away here in Ohio, therefore this is certainly a wonderful sight to behold. Nicely composed and displaying outstanding detail and perfect exposure.
