Cephalorrhynchus tuberosus is a tuberous wild lettuce. It is sparse in Mt Hermon, growing under cliffs. Note the glandular hairs on the stem.

Hello Ori,
I had to check it out on the web to see what this plant looked like when fresh, quite beautiful. You have done a great job of photographing it in the last stage of it's life. Tac sharp focus showing exceptional detail, the tiniest of stem hairs are easily seen. I am curious, since it is a wild lettuce I assume it is edible?
