[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Here are flowers, leaves, and berries of this common evergreen climber. The flexible and delicate stem, with sharp thorns, may clim up to four meters. The berries will turn black as they ripen. They are not edible by humans, but a good source of nourishment for birds. The specie is widely spread, from Central Africa to Mediterranean Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia.

This specimen has climbed on Pistacia lentiscus.

Hello Ishi,
I always enjoy viewing the many wild plants from around the world. You have done a wonderful job of photographing this beautiful fruiting climbing plant. I like your vertical composition which gives us a great look at not only it's pretty red berries, but also it's attractive blooms. Great use of fill flash and nicely focused.
