This lovely Iris family flower is endemic to Northern Israel and Southern Lebanon, thus properly named after the Phoenicians, the ancient inhabitants of the area. The diameter is about 25 mm.

A lovely macro of this low growing Iris. The colour of the petals are well shown, including the sharpness and over head view. Thank you for sharing this pretty little Iris today.
