|The Mountain gazell (Gazella gazella) male 30 kg,female 20. The largest gazelles in israel, found in Golan Heights, galilee to the Northern Negev.found in labanon ,syriaand in isolated regions in Iran and west and south of the Arabian peninsula. In 1948 there were no more then 500 individuals laft in Israel, but legal protection enabled the increase in numbers to thousands.It is probably extended into Labanon. this one is young male.|

Very nice pic. Good action shot. The colours are exquisite in it's natural setting. Thanks for posting. I never even knew they existed.
Its so refeshing to see that Israel has wildlife. All we ever hear about (in Australia)is the troubles with its neighbours.

I have to admit I am very pleasantly surprised to see Israel have such rich and wonderful fauna, I agree we definatelly need a break from what most images look like when they come from this part of the world... Wish I knew more about the wildlife of Israel when I lived in Europe, so close but so different from Eastern Europe in instance... It is superior to the north African countries i1ve seen nevermind the climate and geography is similar...
