Hi Ori,
Lovely iris. Sharpness and color are perfect. The broad DOF let see the environment.

Hi Ori,
Great capture. It's surprising to see how a small plant produces such a huge flower.
Is this a different specie than the other 2 similar looking ones growing in the Golan and Galilee?

Lovely capture, Ori
I'm quite intrigued by the difference between this and the native irises of Canada. Yours has much smaller/shorter leaves and appears to produce but a single flower.
As for the photo: I like the angle that allows us to see into the flower a little bit, yet also shows the environment.
Thank you for sharing

Hi Ori,
Great picture of this iris.
Now that I seeing the picture of this iris, I think that I saw this iris 25 years ago in Mt. Hermon (1600 m') and I have a picture of it (I thought until now that it was Iris hermona)
