[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
THE Plain Tiger (Danaus chrysippus chrysippus) is quite a common butterfly. This species is found in a large part of the world stretching from the Mediterranean region (Greece) to tropical Africa, and through South Asia down to Australia. It is also known as the African Monarch and Golden Danaid (in Australia).
It is believed to be one of the first butterflies to be used in art. A 3500 year old Egyptian Fresco in present day Luxor has the oldest illustration of this species.

The Plain Tiger can be considered the archetypical Danaid of India. Accordingly, this species has been dealt with greater detail than other members of its subfamily in India.

Very good, i like mostly the colors combination created by the texture of this picture you took.

This is a really splendid shot of two beautiful and colorful butterflies! The composition is great, colors are brilliant and warm and the details are sharp! The BG is very nicely defocused which makes the subject stand out perfectly! Congratulations and TFS!

on ne voit pas bien le deuxieme papillon mais on imagine tres bien ce qu'ils sont en train de faire.
les couleurs sont eclatantes et la lumiere bonne.le BG est bien aussi.
