Salvia multicaulis is a rare sage that grows in the mountains of the Middle East. It is woody at teh base and forms small carpets. This 1 was found in Dana Reserve in S Jordan.

Beautiful specimen very well recorded. It looks a bit different than those of Mt. Hermon.

Hello Ori,
A nice close-up shot of this rare type of sage. Shown in exceptional detail and beautiful natural coloration. The shape of the blooms remind me somewhat of the Snapdragons in my wife's flower garden.
