Also known as "The Pigeon Rocks". A monumental natural arch jutting up from the Mediterranean. One of Beirut landmarks. A great place to sit at one of the roadside cafes and watch the sun set.

amazing landscape, greetings Ori

Hallo Hussein
Absolutely beautiful. A wonderful view of this lovely landscape. There is such a lot to appreciate in this image. It indeed looks like an oasis and a place just to sit and enjoy the beauty and everything that surrounds it for at least a few hours. One can really see far into the distance and the air is open and wide. It has such a relaxing feeling to it. The water really looks inviting and refreshing, and the variation of blues in the water is fascinating. A lovely display of various aspects of nature all in one. Thanks for sharing this scenery.
Kind regards
ps. It is just a pity that you do not participate more by ways of comments or critiques on fellow members photos as I see the last time you have done so was in November 2008. You have lots of lovely landscapes in your portfolio and I am sure many members would love to visit but hesitate, due to the fact that you do not participate regularly and therefore your points average will stay at 2-6 per photo.

Hello Hussein,
Spectacular landscape including the visible strata. The vegetation on top of the larger rock must be robust to survive in such a challenging environment.

nice place, i like the stone textures and forms

Hi Hussein,

Those are most striking rocks captured expertly with fine details and excellent colors. Well done!

I wonder what the vegetation there looks like.

TFS and best regards,
