[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Day 1 of #challengeonnaturephotography special thanks for Yoav Perlman and Avner Rinot who mentioned me in this beautiful event.
Our Oman trip has some very good birds already but this African Paradise Flycatcher was almost the most surprising bird for my birder friends Ihsan Çiçek and Yusuf Emmi in Oman who was not expecting such a beauty smile ifade simgesi It lingered around us with no fear at all which gave a fantastic opportunity.

For my first day, I nominate my dear friend Yann Kolbeinsson or mostly known as "Ice man" from Iceland. Yann is a great birder and photographer who i worked with several times and i hope i will see him soon in his homeland. smile ifade simgesi So let's see what he has for us! Hello Emin,
Fantastic photo of this African Paradise Flycatcher. Attractive pose with eye contact in superb sharpness and beautiful colours. Beautiful background too.

Hello Emin,
A new bird for me and what a gorgeous one at that. The plumage is beautiful with an array of colors and patterns. It has such a pretty iridescent bluish black head with a vivid white eye ring. The rufous patches on it's back and tail contrast nicely with it's white and slate gray wing feathers. Tac sharp focus displaying excellent detail and just the right exposure. Love the attractive BG as well. A pleasure to view!!
