Orchis anatolica thriving at the base of large rocks/boulders. From this angle it looks like there are two flowers. I am posting a workshop capture that reveals the number of flowers and the whole plant(s) with habitat/setting.

Hello Umar,
fine capture of these Orchids with good sharpness and a well chosen POV. It really looks like there are only two Orchids there, but thanks to your workshop we can see the truth. I also like the beautiful colours.
Best wishes,

Beautiful Orchids again against the very impressive BG of lichen covered rocks, Umar.
Immense appeal despite the simplicity of the image.

Hello Umar,

Hope you are well. I have been missing your photos since long and by 'missing' I mean missing comments on them....so here I am making amends and do hope you'll forgive me for staying away from your photo for so long, for the shortage of time is responsible for keeping us away from one another.
Do agree with Ram and others that it a wonderful shot of these beautiful orchids against the background of the lichen covered rock. One wonders the way beautiful flowers grow at lonely strange places where few are able to see them. You have a good discerning eye and have presented us with a fine shot.....thanks a for sharing....take care....warmest regards/Abid

Ciao Umar. Great pic, as usual MF. Brilliant colours against the the rock like BG. Excellent details.

This beautiful species of Orchis is well shown against the grey rock BG with fine natural colours and clarity in a very good composition where both the flowers and leaves look good.

Hello Umar,
A gorgeous flowering plant springing up out of the crevices of these large boulders. A true contrast between your subject and it's surroundings. The blooms are so pretty with their unique shapes and vivid colors.

Nice species, Its a O. mascula group?
TFS, Ferran

Hello Umar,
The presence of a rock very often helps for a good flower-picture, adding "material" and color-contrast. Orchis anatolica is of course also a striking flower.
Thanks and kind regards
