[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I noticed a beehive in my garden this morning on the small fig tree we have.
The bees are some kind of native species, small in size and docile type. I shot this picture inches away from the hive. There was no sign of aggression. A couple of them settled on my hands, face and camera but did not sting.
I have no idea what species they are. They came this morning and can be gone tomorrow.

Hello Ram,
Very nice capture with perfect POV ,wonderful colours and a lot of nice details. Well done.

A great capture. I've never actually seen this before and find it really interesting.
You are lucky they are so docile.
The image is quite oe, especially the leaf, but this isn't a problem as it's such a great post.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ram,
this is wonderful but I don't want to have them in my garden or on my body.
A wonderful shot, they have so pretty colours and stripes. Thanks

Bonjour Ram, excellent shot, very instructive, it's the first time that I see that. Put them in a beehive and crop hony!! Very well done , congratulations, Didier.

Hi Ram,

Excellent and a brave ( i belive bees are not docile(Joking)) capture!!! Great colors and dof ( i think you used flash)!! the leaf on the top is bleached out( try correcting in PS ).

Hi Ram,
this is something we don't see here to often. I guess no one wants to get to close to them ;-).
Daring shot with nice details. Great POV.

It looks like a small swarm of Honey bee's, this is were a colony has more then one queen , one of them has to leave and takes a portion of the workers with her to help establish a new colony at this time they are not agressive because they are loaded down with food suplies as so very docile, the queen is in the middle some where. a bee keep would knock then into a box and transfer them to a new hive where they could bred safely. TFS yours Robert

Hi Ram,
Amaizing view, looks like a worm formed with bees. Good capture. Do you have changed the colors or they are naturals?
Best greetings

hello Ram, very nice shot. I never seen something like that. I noticed, by the shadow, you used the flash. didn't you? I think you can obtain better results with out it. thaks for sharing, keep the good work! gabriel

Hello Ram, this is a very interesting post. I wouldn't call it a beehive but swarm. I'm sure I couldn't get close to that, the picture is scary enough.
As for the shot, the quality isn't that important here, but some details are well visible. It's a bit too overexposed though.
Overall, great post.
