Hello my friends
Today's shot belongs to a buttefly again. But this is from the former ones, taken two years ago in June 2008. The shot was captured, returning from raptors (e.g.
Aquila chrysaetos) in a hillside in Kızılcahamam District of our capital city Ankara. I took it in dusk after sunset, using with small flash light on Canon 40D. Another shot of same individuals can be seen on Workshop.

Iyi aksamlar Ahmet dostum,
A very fine macro of P. amandus. I like the composition on the blue-flowered plant and the POV shows its details while resting in the closed wing position with excellent sharpness and natural colours against a neutral dark BG.
The Bg looks so dark that it looks like flash but that is not mentioned in the exif info.
Cok tesekkür ederim,
Eline saglik,
Ivan

çok güzel bir türün makrosu olmuş can dostum
ellerine sağlık
selamlar..

Hi Ahmet,

A butterfly in the dark - how wonderful. It is so beautiful beneath the pretty blue flower. The colors against the black background are exquisite. Nice sharp details and a lovely composition.

Jane

A priceless capture from your archives, Dr Ahmet.
Perched upsidedown on an ornate bough with a blue flower, the butterfly looks divinely beautiful.
It is a sheer work of art from my perception.
Thanks and regards.
Ram

Mehmet
