Turkish Name: Işgın Zümrütü / Minik Zümrüt Kelebeği

Distribution in Turkey: Eastern Anatolia-Malatya-Elazığ-Tunceli-Bitlis-Van-Hakkari.

Distribution in the world: Semi endemic- South-Western Iran (Kuh-e-Dinar Mount)

Living Area: 1800 -2800 meters above sea level. High-altitude mountainous, loose floor slope

Flight time: A single generation. May-June.

Food Plants of the caterpillar: Larvae fed the plant Warty-leaved rhubarb -(Rheum ribes)

Description-Notes: Unusual for Callophrys and extremely small size. Type locality, "Callophrys mystaphia" Miller, 1913 was described from Eastern Turkey (vicinity of Iğdır). Very rare, very local. Callophrys mystaphi by the presence of plant nutrients have limited distribution. A very local and rare species with an extremely restricted range in Turkey. The whole life cycle revolves around the Warty-leaved rhubarb ( Rheum ribes ), takes place in the here and the pairing.

-This butterfly red list generation is the most endangered in the class..

Wingspan: 20-24 mm long.
