I will post 4 birds from my resident country and my favourite birds of Finches family(Fringillidae)
The first one is the Trumpeter Finch. It really sings like a trumpeter that's where its name is coming from. Apart from its funny sound, the plumage is elusive too. Take a plain buff coloured bird and wash it with rose-pink and reddish tones. This is the male in breeding season.
