Now this is truly top quality! Should i assume you are beginning to like your new Canon toys? :)
The POV is excellent here and the DOF impecable, but what i like the most of all are the superb colors and tones everywhere in the frame.

In addition to your superior understanding of and mastery over technical aspects of photography, you have a highly refined sense of aesthetics too, Sebnem.
The colour of the fallen leaves on the surface on which the bird is standing makes a perfect match with the colour on the bird's chest. The OOF green BG not only provides a fine backdrop for the subject but also lends the picture unique depth and dimension.

Hello Sebnem, I like this pic (we posted the same bird today), but I think there's to much saturation and colors seems not really true, maybe because of the cloudy day?
The post-production this time is good and we don't see any artifacts.
The tripod works fine! Did you use the IS on?

fabulous painting - I very much like the repetition of reddish brown from the bird's chest in the leaves to the left and the right, and the very delicate colour contrast of well saturated browns and greens against the cool gray of some of the feathers. Thank you!
And a very sweet portrait of the robin that - by the way - is said to be a ruthless killer of competitors of its own kind invading into its territory.

my friend..and yours
of all the birds i feel this one is most photogenic and the friendliest..
one came into my kitchen...had a look round..looked at me...went out on the spade handle in the garden..then chirped so i would go out and dig worms..i did..he cocked his head at me..winked i think...and ate the worm

the most striking thing about this shot is the superb technique and technical level of presentation...composition and tones are fine but the sharpness and textures are tremendous...

Usually I don't like it if a image is cluttered, but in this case the image is fantastic. It shows the robin where one expects to find it; in the undergrowth. I really like the composition in this picture a lot. Very well done.
