hello Jools,

welcome to TN. wish you a happy journey with Nature :)
this is a lovely, elegant bird. a Common Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus). i saw one. i managed a photograph too. i had Steve (cuckooroller) then to guide me with the IDs and behaviours of birds. don't know where he has gone!
in India, it comes in winter.
anyway, a good beginning. not properly focused, but a good POV. nice mood too.
