Hello Sebnem,
I have never seen gulls with their bills locked in a fight in this way. You have captured these two Yellow-legged Gulls at the right moment from your car window, the two bills forming a unique red and yellow pattern. That you composed the two heads centrally is just right. This is a fine sharp shot and well presented.

Really amazing and well-timed capture - so that's how they grab each other, by the beak! THey do tend to fight a lot but I've never seen this in real life or on a photo! I like the sharp details and the colours. Well composed too. Brilliant!!

Great action shot Sebnem, these Gulls really can get nasty with each other. Catching both beaks interlocking is amazing! It is very clear and sharp and your exposure is great on the white feathers and eys, very nice compositon with a story behind it. Well done.

This is amazing, Sebnem! You have managed to capture a real action photo here, and that is so difficult, and the reason why most photos are just descriptive and nothing more.

But it is not only an interesting motif, is is almost perfect from a technical view with great sharpness, excellent composition and beautiful colours.

Wow, the beaks of these fighters are interlocked, Sebnem! The expression in the eyes is fierce. What were they fighting for, by the way?

This is a very unusual moment caught. Their crossed beaks are very impressive to see. I didn't know that they could fight this way. A well spotted (ok, even if it was only afterwards) scrap between these two very serious looking gulls. Both locked in a beak grip that makes WWF look like kiddies play.

Considering the fact that you must have been pretty excited yourself by this time you still managed to get a lovely composition. I like how the wing of the bird on the right actually provides some compositional balance to the shot. The exposure was spot-on showing some lovely contrasts on these white birds. The details are nice and sharp and the OOF and very complimenting BG is great.

Interesting story and very good effect of observation :) I have seen situation like this one before, but I am wondering if these 2 are really fighting. The specimen on the left looks like a youger one, so maybe it is a parent with its child (or rather "teenager").
